Steel Technologies Louisville, KY 4/2009 through 11/2009 EDI Systems Analyst, Mapper and GIS Administrator with an SAP focus Perform Mapping, Maintenance, New TP Development, Maintain FTP Communications and Gentran Integration Suite Build Trading Partner Relationships, Deduce problems and create resolutions to ensure proper deployment of the EDI services. Fujitsu Consulting San Mateo, CA 5/2007 through 11/2007 EDI Consultant/EDI Developer/Business Analyst (Consultant) Provided EDI expertise to CAPCOM Entertainment in regard to the installation of Gentran Integration Suite v4.2, and the upgrade to v4.2 from Gentran Integration Suite v3.1. Corrected the previous installation of GIS v4.2 and verify operation. Install all updates, and patches, for the GIS v4.2 system. Develop all documentation for the CAPCOM EDI department. Update/upgrade the Wal-Mart 4030 translation maps to version 5010, per Wal-Mart requirement using the Wal-Mart Retail Link Self-Testing Portal. Monitor the GIS v4.2 system and take correction action with the internal or external trading partners or customers as needed. Develop, test, and implement communications scripts for connectivity and EDI data transfer to the Sterling Commerce VAN (Value Added Network) and specific trading partners using the FTP file transfer protocol. Develop and implement the process control schedule to ensure data transfer in a just-in-time environment, or on a predefined communications schedule. Develop and test the inbound EDI ïƒ FORM ïƒ PRINT functionality using directory polling; so as the inbound EDI document is received the document is translated and dropped into the In Drawer, and printed on a specific printer. Once printed, an email is sent to the appropriate group to inform them a new file has been received and is awaiting them on the printer. KForce Technology Solutions Orlando, FL 4/2007 through 5/2007 EDI Consultant/Business Analyst (Contractor) Provided EDI expertise to MBX Logistics in regard to the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of their Gentran Integration Suite (GIS) v4.0 system. Stabilize the GIS production environment to allow continual operation in a UNIX environment. Assist in the upgrade to the newest version of Oracle OTM v5.5 by updating the Gentran XML translation maps with the newest particles, elements, and PCData information. Perform upgrade maintenance to the JDK for the Daylight Savings Time DST correction. Offer suggestions for streamlining GIS, and increasing the efficiency of the overall system.
