I am a senior software consultant with over 25 years of proven industry involvement. I have extensive experience working in remote/virtual office situations as the majority of my engagements and projects have been remote. My office is located in the immediate Boston area. I am comfortable and proficient with a wide range of full stack technologies. I have strong experience with: Windows, Linux, Unix, .Net, .Net Core, ASP .Net, SignalR, WCF, WPF, Winforms, C#, C++, C, VB, VB .Net, ADO .Net, Java, Javascript, HTML5, jquery, CSS3, Infragistics, DevExpress and Telerik controls and ODBC, and COM.
There are many different mindsets in the software engineering environment. I describe myself as a "finisher." I will do what it takes to get the job done. I thoroughly enjoy working all phases of a project, from design and prototyping to implementation. I have the tenacity to push a project to through to the point of release and production. I actively combine the theoretical with practical application when it comes to implementing creative solutions. I'll do whatever tasks assigned in order to complete the project. I have a strong history (starting back at Index Technology/Lotus Development) of being part of teams that shipped successful software solutions to market.
I am comfortable working on individual tasks or in a team setting. Through my career, I have worked on a vast assortment of different applications and industries. I will speak up and call out issues if something is unclear or if I don't understand something, I will ask. I am not intimidated researching solutions on my own. Over the years, I've built up a great network of colleagues whom I don't hesitate to call if I come across a particularly sticky/difficult issue.
