  • Hired by IndyMac Construction Lending division for a 4 week contract developing Crystal Reports, this 13 year consulting engagement has delivered exceptional value-to all management levels of the Bank, including simultaneously reporting directly to the EVP of OneWest and CEO of Financial Freedom.
  • Developing SQL-based Crystal Reports with data derived from complex SQL Databases, the approach supporting the Mortgage Loan Originations and Servicing divisions became a corporate-wide practice and methodology for analyzing workflow processes and creating automated reporting. Work products enabled senior management the agility to delegate time-sensitive work, mitigating Portfolio Risk by prioritizing resources on at-risk processes ensuring compliance with regulatory organizations.
  • Instrumental in supporting the Bank's strategic direction of Cognos Impromptu, converted reports from Crystal Reports to Cognos Impromptu, assisting in the creation of a complex SQL Job/DTS Package/Cognos infrastructure.
  • Through various acquisitions by IndyMac bank, the take-over by the FDIC, and subsequent sale to OneWest Bank, fielded requests from FDIC and Operational organizations for critical portfolio data.
  • Special Projects include reconciling Financial Freedom data to MERS (Mortgage Electronic Registration System) and IACS (system utilized by HUD) to ensure that all systems reconcile on key data points and that Financial Freedom remains in compliance with both organizations.
  • Additional contributions and responsibilities include providing standardized reports requested by internal and external audits, as well as the FDIC and other regulatory organizations. Most reports are still in use and continue to be an invaluable resource throughout both OneWest Bank and Financial Freedom.
