10/2007 to 3/2009:

Client: Representing TUSC at ACT in Iowa City, IA.

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.10.2 on RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 4. Oracle 10g RAC 4-node cluster on IBM p-series 64-bit servers. Modules included Financials, Manufacturing/Distribution (Mobile Supply Chain - MSCA), and HR. It also included a very customized iStore which ran on 5 externally facing application servers.

Role and Duties: Senior Oracle Apps 11i DBA (11.5.10.2) supporting all e-business environments (Production, Stress, Test, Development). Support included day to day production support, patching, cloning, and tuning. I was the DBA team’s representative to the User community (Finance, Distribution, HR). I worked closely with the department representatives to schedule and prioritize e-business changes that included patching and custom code deployment. I performed migration of E-business servers to a new Data Center. Performed research and implementation of ATG RUP6 and Critical Update Patches.

 

8/2007 to 10/2007:

Client: Wilson Greatbatch in Clarence, NY.

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.10.2 running on HP/UX.

Role and Duties: Install and implement Oracle Demantra 7.1.1 and Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPB) version ZPB.B.

 

9/2005 to 8/2007:

Client: Representing TUSC at The Pampered Chef in Addison, IL.

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.10.2 on RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 4 running on HP ProLiant DL580 G3 servers. Oracle 10g was running on the same hardware and OS. Modules included Financials and Manufacturing/Distribution (Mobile Supply Chain), CRM, Advanced Supply Chain (ASCP), Demantra 7.1, iSupplier, InterAction Center, Mobile Supply Chain (MSCA) and Warehouse Management (WMS). Implementation included multi-language (French, Spanish, and German).

Role and Duties: Lead DBA performing full implementation of Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.10.2 and 10g database. Developed TA120 (Platform and Network Architecture) documents. I managed and mentored clients DBA team. I also provided production support during this phased implementation. The implementation I performed included ASCP, Demantra, iSupplier, and Oracle Email Server 5.2.2 (Oracle 9i Database).

 

9/2005 to 9/2005

Client: Representing TUSC at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, AL

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.10 on Solaris 8 running on Sun V480 servers. The Oracle 9.2.0.6 database is running on Solaris 8 on a Fugitsu 850 server.

Role and Duties: Senior Oracle Apps 11i DBA performing an assessment of the current environment and provide recommendations on patching, database tuning, and JVM tuning.

 

3/2005 to 9/2005

Client: The City of Philadelphia

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.9 on RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 running on IBM x Series 445 and 346 high-performance servers.

Role and Duties: I performed an initial fresh install of 11.5.9. I performed a migration of Oracle E-business Suite from Solaris 8 to Linux RHEL 3. After the migration, I performed an upgrade to Oracle 11.5.10.

 

8/2004 to 3/2005

Client: Sungard Recovery Services in Wayne, PA

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.9 load balanced on Solaris 8 running on 2 Sunfire 280 servers. The Oracle 9i database was running on Solaris 8 on a Sunfire v880 server. The modules running included HR, Financials, Sales online, Marketing online, and iProcurement. Oracle Application Server 10g (9.0.4) with Oracle Portal, Webcache, Oracle Internet Directory (OID) with automatic synch with Active Directory.

Role and Duties: Senior Oracle Apps 11i DBA performing production support which included patching and cloning. Additionally, I was the Lead Oracle Applications 10g administrator performing production support for the Portal and OID environment. Also, I cloned the Production Oracle Portal environment to a new Test environment.

 

9/2003 to 8/2004

Client: The Hibbert Group in Trenton, NJ

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.9 on Solaris 9 running on Sun Fire 6800 servers. The Oracle 9i RAC database is running on the same platform using Veritas Advanced Clustering 3.4. Modules included Financials, iPayment, and Mobile Supply Chain (MSCA).

Role and Duties: The Lead Oracle Apps 11i DBA performing the fresh install of 11.5.9 on all environments. I installed and configured Oracle 9i RAC using Veritas Advanced Clustering. I installed and supported Oracle Application Server 10g for use with Discoverer 10g (9.0.4). I performed various production support tasks including patching and cloning. I managed and mentored the clients Oracle Apps DBA team.

 

6/2002 to 9/2003

Client: Subaru of America, Cherryhill NJ

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.8 on Solaris 8 running on Sun Fire 6800 servers. Oracle 9i (9.0.3) running on the same platform. The modules include Financials, Discrete Manufacturing, iProcurement, Installed Base, Quoting, and Configurator.

Role and Duties: I was the Lead DBA installing the initial Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.5 environment with Oracle 8.1.7.2. I upgraded to Oracle E-business suite 11.5.8 and the database to 8.1.7.4 and then to 9i (9.0.3). I managed and mentored the clients Oracle DBA to affectively support the Oracle E-business Suite environments.

 

1/2002 to 6/2002

Client: GE (Casi Rusco) in Boca Raton, FL

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.4 running on HP/UX 11.0 N and L class servers. Oracle 8.1.7 64-bit running on HP/UX L class servers. Modules include HR, Manufacturing, CRM, Financials and iStore.

Role and Duties: Senior Oracle Apps 11i DBA supporting European conversion of 3 sites to Apps 11i. I also supported production which included patching and cloning.

 

11/2000 to 12/2001

Client: Agility Communications in Allentown, PA

Environment: Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.2 running on HP/UX 11.0 N and L class servers. The Modules included Financials, Oracle Shop Floor Manager and Discrete Manufacturing.

Role and Duties: I was the Lead Oracle Apps 11i DBA installing Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.2. Also, I upgraded to 11.5.3. I also managed and mentored the clients DBA on supporting Oracle E-business Suite.

 

2/1998 to 11/2000: Manager of Oracle DBA group which consisted of 6 to 8
