Project : Development and deployment of web based maintenance tool for VoIP Traffic

               Monitoring.

Details: End-to-End Development and deployment of a web based maintenance and monitoring tool for voIP traffic in the sector of Internet Telephony services which iBasis Inc provides. This project uses ZOPE application web server developed in Python. The backend is mysql database.

2.  Emailing and analysis tool.

Client: Bitpipe Inc, Lincoln Street Boston July 2000 – Sept 2000

Project: Development and deployment of emailing tool for www.bitpipe.com

Brief Details: Development of an email utility at the above said website using Java, JDBC, Servlets and mysql at the backend.

This utility helps users of the site to send the URL of particularly interesting page on www.bitpipe.com to    a friend or group of friends. Simultaneously the utility captures and stores data in mysql database for future analysis and traffic generation.

3.   National Informatics Center.  India.

Client: Commercial Project CAR VENDOR, Nov 99- Apr 2000.

Project: Development and deployment of an Online Car Mart.

 

Brief Details: Technologies include all relevant website devt technologies viz. HTML, scripting, JDBC and SERVELETS. Users can view cars and specifications with a shop cart, and purchase them through an order form. Session management techniques are used to monitor HTTP sessions and for security purposes.

Project: Traffic Monitor Simulator

 

Brief Details: The project simulates the traffic flow at busy crossings and reports overspeeding and under speeding vehicles, Amount of congestion and instructs the controllers to take corrective actions. The current inputs are manual and I am working on interfacing of the system with Radars and Cameras. It will be connected to a RDBMS to create a Data Warehouse for Analysis.

Brief Details: It involved the automation of all the activities of the Department, which broadly are Land Acquisition System, Financial Accounting System, Land Mapping System and Personnel Information System.

Project: Inventory Management & Control Information System (IMIS)

 

Brief Details: National Garages is a chain of Authorized Dealers for a number of Vehicles in the State. The requirement was to automate the activities of all the Garages. This included maintenance of the Vehicles at every Garage as well as keeping track of the movement of incoming and outgoing Vehicles from the Garage. It also had a built in Inventory Control and Management System.
