Maintenance and ownership of the ROM-DOS automated test
suite project. This suite is designed around a command scripting backbone
with individual tests written in command scripting language, C, and x86
Assembly. This test suite was implemented on a 5 machine deployment, with
each of 4 machines running separate DOS configurations and the host machine
running Windows 98 SE. This test suite can be executed remotely from any node
on the network and report results via email. §
Writing and debugging individual tests for the
ROM-DOS automated test suite. These tests were written in command scripting
language for testing Command and Utils, C and x86 Assembly for testing Kernel
level functionality. § General debugging of C, command scripting, and x86 Assembly relating to diagnosis of ROM-DOS application failures. § General PC Networking and configuration relating to the ROM-DOS automated test suite and general MIS duties. § Writing and debugging library functions for the ROM-DOS project. These functions were predominantly written in x86 Assembly for interfacing with C. § Development and testing for 100% compatibility of the ROM-DOS Diskcopy utility. This was implemented in ANSI C, using the IOCTL calls. Development included reverse engineering the MS-DOS Diskcopy utility using SOFT-ICE. § Testing and some exposure to development of the ROM-DOS IFS implementation. Testing included 49 configurations, accomplished over not more than two days. § Maintenance
of the ROM-DOS and Sockets ‘autoproj’ automated build scripting project and
all build scripting relating to those projects. § Responsible
for resolving high priority issues relating to the legacy Novell network.
Platforms included Windows 98, Windows 95, Microsoft DOS, Datalight ROM-DOS,
Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows 95 OSR2. · Oct1999 – May2000 Entrek Software, Inc Redmond, Washington Software Development Engineer § Writing and development testing the Remote API handler module for the Majestic project. This project was intended to be an IDE add-on for development of Windows CE GUI applications. This included ITL communication between Windows NT Workstation and Windows CE. Software Test Engineer § Writing Remote API automated testing code for the Majestic project. Software was fully automated to test marshalling. § Writing Remote API automated testing documentation for the Majestic project. Documentation included utilizing COM to perform marshalling testing in a code-level environment. § Buildmaster for the Majestic project. This involved configuration and maintenance of automated build procedures and Build Verification Tests for the Windows NT and Windows CE operating systems. § Installing and configuring server tape backup system. · Jan1999 – Oct1999 SeaMED Bothell,Washington Software Technician § Writing and testing software for the Klone Peak project. This project was a medical videophone device, intended for remote health-care. This included end-to-end system validation testing and module level testing. § Administration of Klone Peak bug-tracking database. This included process administration, installation support for client software, and maintenance. § Buildmaster for the Klone Peak project. This involved manual build compiling and Build Verification Testing of applications and drivers for the Windows 98 and Windows CE operating systems. § Performed Y2K compliance testing for the Klone Peak project. § Wrote various FDA GMP Compliant processes and procedures used in the formal software release of the Klone Peak product. § Installing and configuring hardware and software on IBM PC’s. This included diagnosing and installing build environments, test environments and target system environments. § Configured the Windows CE Development environment using Visual C++ Version 5.0 and the Microsoft Embedded Tool Kit. · 1996 – 1999 JEI Bothell, Washington Software Technician § Writing and testing software for the Orbit software project.
