SAMPLE PROJECT EXPERIENCE

IT Program/Project Manager/Crisis Intervention Tyco/Capgemini/ADP Project for PeopleSoft HR, ADP Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor, Self Service National Implementation (2004-2005)

Retained as IT Program Manager with responsibility to complete IT deliverables contracted for delivery during the analysis phase of one of ADPs largest client outsourcing projects. ADPs end client is a global, diversified company that provides vital products and services to customers in five unique business segments: Fire & Security, Electronics, Healthcare, Engineered Products & Services, and Plastics & Adhesives. With 2004 revenue of $40 billion, the end client employs 260,000 people worldwide.

ADP was centralizing HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Labor for 6 unique businesses within the client organization. Twenty-four unique IT systems are being centralized, with an excess of 500 unique interfaces.

IT work stream deliverables were severely behind schedule, and there was substantial risk that contracted deliverables would not be met. My key responsibilities were project triage - to assess actual status of IT deliverables as compared to the project plan, to re-vamp the IT group to ensure that critical deliverables would be achieved, and to deliver those deliverables in a quality manner. Within a period of 3 months the assessment was made, the IT team was revamped (new team was comprised of 9 team members), and as a result of the IT triage, all IT deliverables due at the end of the analysis phase were completed in a quality manner. Those deliverables included:

·       Reorganization and new staffing of the IT group

·       Completion of all â˜Current to Future Stateâ™ documentation, which included a comprehensive listing of all systems, interfaces, system and interface diagrams, and the identification of gaps, all of which were validated via â˜webinarâ™sâ™ with the appropriate business segments across the US and Puerto Rico.

·       Completion of all IT Strategy documents, including: Conversion Strategy, Data Gathering Strategy, Infrastructure Strategy, Interfaces Strategy, Reporting Strategy, Security Strategy, Testing Strategy and Global Data Warehouse Strategy.

·       Completion of all Statement of Work sections relating to: Data Conversion, Data Gathering, Infrastructure, Interfaces, Reporting, Security, Testing, Hosting Services, Release Management, and Global Data Warehouse (GDW).

Environment: Web-based: HR - EV4, Payroll Autopay, Benefits Winflex, Manager and Employee Self Service ADP Portal, Case Management Siebel and Clarify, Knowledgebase Authoria, GL ADP GL Connect, Time & Labor ADP Eetime, Global Data Warehouse. Phased deployment to 100,000+ users in the US and Puerto Rico.

Program Management Officer, Hewlett-Packard/EMEA, Munich, Germany Siebel PRM Global Implementation (PMO) (2003-2004)

Served as Program Management Officer for HP EMEA (30 countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) for the world-wide web-based implementation and deployment of Siebel PRM (Partner Relationship Management, v 7.7). Phased deployment ultimately to 150,000+ users world-wide.

The goal of this implementation is to standardize systems and processes globally, regionalizing the application where necessary to accommodate country specific requirements, and to implement a suite of business processes, systems and tools that enable the HP channel marketing and sales teams to more effectively manage their channel partners by automating and streamlining partner management processes, enabling collaborative selling, servicing and marketing. It is expected that IT and Infrastructure costs will be reduced substantially by the consolidation of disparate systems, retirement of redundant and outdated systems, and platform standardization.

Responsibilities included management reporting via EMEA performance scorecard to manage & report status of EMEAs Siebel PRM implementation progress, business analysis and planning status, IT readiness, testing & implementation activities. Also responsible for mentoring of project managers, review & validation of project plans, creation of project structures to facilitate communication and delivery during the engagement, including the posting & maintenance of relevant documents to the internal knowledge management systems. Managed and coordinated with an EMEA team of approximately 25 project managers and system integrators.

EMEA project scope included identification and analysis of interfaces to numerous downstream systems, alignment of Siebel CRM and Siebel PRM processes, lead management, profiling, partner portal, and business process reporting/metrics.

Environment: Siebel CRM/PRM v7.7, Partner Recruitment, Enrollment, Profiling, Contract, Renewal, Entitlement, Portal, Sales, Call Center, Internet Explorer, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Oracle 9i v 9.2.0.2.0 Database, UNICODE
