Seven years of progressive and varied experience in application development, technical lead, systems support and configuration management achieved as a Web Application Architect, Technical Lead, Project Engineer, and Support Engineer.  My technical skills include the suite of Microsoft tools (SQL Server, Visual Basic, ASP, Visual Interdev and Visual Source Safe, VBScript), JavaScript, Click Commerce’s CRM, Oracle RDBMS, Perl, XML, and Sterling ’s Connect:Direct.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Business Analyst – Applied Technology Mentors, Inc - EPAM Systems, Inc - September 2004 to Present

Gath ered business requirements for process automation of the provider information and credentialing department of large healthcare organization. Documented the As Is process and developed the requirements into the To Be process. Supporting off-shore development of credentialing package.

Web Application Architect – Applied Technology Mentors, Inc – May 2004 to September 2004

Participated in development of a monitoring application. Participated in the conversion of a VB.Net Web Services course to C#. Participated on development team for medical group scanned document to MS Access application. Provide technical support to the data center.

Web Application Architect – Applied Technology Mentors, Inc – AstraZeneca – May 2002 to May 2004

Maintained and enhanced ASP enterprise intranet application for Facilities Space Management group, meeting with users to gather requirements. Upsized MS Access database to SQL Server 2000 for Facilities Space Management group, utilizing stored procedure and DTS packages for access by ASP enterprise application. Application is currently in production. Provided technical support, application DBA support for a public facing customer service FDA Validated web-based ASP/SQL Server 2000 application. Upgraded this application to interface with enterprise implementation of SAP R3. Application is currently in production. Participated in the Change Management process by serving on a Change Control Board for BIS Ops Commercial Support.

Technical Project Lead – Applied Technology Mentors, Inc – AstraZeneca – July 2001 to May 2002

Represented AZ as Technical Project Lead for implementation of a large scale Customer Online Services application.  Coordinated efforts with outside vendor for development, validation testing and implementation. Participated in vendor selection of a customer service solution to provide external partner access to sales data. Participated in meetings with users to gather requirements. Participated on design/technical team that evolved a purchased software package into a highly customized public facing ASP/SQL Server 2000 solution to allow 350+ internal and external users access to order and invoice information through a reference implementation of a DMZ architecture. Application is currently in production.

Web/Application Developer – Applied Technology Mentors, Inc – AstraZeneca – January 2000 to June 2001

Provided ongoing support of a FDA Validated application used to track clinical trials. Participated in the testing and deployment of desktop and client server applications from a mixed NT/95 platform into a Windows 2000 environment for BIS Operations organization.

Web Application Developer – Applied Technology Mentors, Inc – January 2000 to September 2000

Participated on team to develop ASP web applications including airplane pilots’ portal and consumer product registry portal.

Project Engineer – Titan Corporation – FAA Technical Center – June 1998 to December 1999

Improved access to technical reference resources by creating and managing a library of all technical resources.  Increased management’s capability to track technical assets by performing physical inventory and labeling of equipment in a Research and Development facility.  Maintained MS Access applications to manage activities of the Integration and Interoperability Facility (I2F).

Support Engineer - System Resources Corp (Titan) - FAA Tech Center - March 1998 to June 1998

Participated as team lead to ready workstations for migration to 4.x server. Installed and/or upgraded network-attached PCs (DOS, Win95/NT) with 32-bit Novell network client and checked for Y2K compliance. Tracked workstation visits and compiled results in a MS Access database and developed reports against the data.
