Provide project management of simple to complex IT Infrastructure
Delivery projects and requests.  Overall management of projects 
includes, but is not limited to: setting and evaluating objectives, 
gathering business and technical requirements, facilitating necessary IT

Work as temp employee (start-up company).  Involved with the initial 
stages of planning in the Software Quality Assurance and Help Desk 
departments.  Writing of automated Java scripts in Eclipse to test 
against the API.  Writing/testing of manual smoke and extensive test 
scripts covering the entire application, including writing sample 
models.  Maintenance of JIRA internal issue-tracking system, covering 
the re-creation and confirmation of bugs and regression testing.

Involved in the testing of final-candidate software before it was placed 
in to final production.  This included testing each application on 2 
platforms (Apple and PC), created sessions in 4 different emulations 
(VT100, 420, 5250 and 3270), embedded them in to a Web page in several 
different Netscape and Internet Explorer browser versions, checked the 
source code, and adding JavaScript. Demo and Serialization testing.  
Backup for Tech Support Department. Set up of Sales Database using Act!
2000.  

TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER
Answered questions either by phone or email from customers regarding the
installation, configurations and errors of the company's client/server
x-display and terminal emulation software, both on the Windows and 
MacIntosh platforms. Tested different emulations (AS400) and connection 
protocols (REXEC, RSH, XDMCP).  Involved with QA in the testing, release 
and collecting of information regarding Beta software.  Reproduced 
customer problems and troubleshooted them.  Worked with the engineers to 
solve customer bugs.  Set up of sample sessions, including the embedding 
of xterm in a Web page.  Worked with UNIX, Solaris, Linux and other 
Xwindow systems.  Involved with Pre-Sales and Marketing. Started/set up 
the Accounting Department (to be taken over by full time Accounting 
employee) for Powerlan USA office, included configuration of the 
accounting software MYOB.

(Microsoft and Apple) CUSeeMe/CUSeeMe Pro software.  Testing of different

Monitoring of network between company and customers.  Managed content 
delivery and integrity of all channel Data.  Populated and updated 
building database. Coordinated the process of bringing buildings "live" 
with Field Operations, third parties and engineering.  Managed problem 
escalations to engineering.  Managed the delivery, blocking and 
occasional removal of advertising content based upon customer request.  
Captured and documented newly discovered information into the technical 
knowledge base. Troubleshooted any problems that may have arised in main 
service channels, PC GUI and FTP sites. Provided the primary interface 
for Captivate, production staff, content suppliers and building 
customers in the technical solving process.

CABLETRON SYSTEMS, INC., Merrimack, NH.
BUILDING MANAGER AND ASSISTANT TO DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
In charge of Administration for Cabletron's Merrimack Engineering
Facility (220+ employees).  The management position encompassed 
supervising a staff of 4, day-to-day operations of the building, human 
resources, payroll, worked with managers concerning personnel issues, 
maintenance, security, supplies for entire building, and Merrimack's 
administrative liaison for Corporate Headquarters in Rochester, NH.  The 
assistant position included the handling of confidential information
such as salaries, bonuses, stock options, hiring & firing process.  
Assisted Finance Department with SAP report organization and analyzation 
for entire Engineering Department, including monthly reports and the 
tracking of purchase reqs/products/assets. Creating new 
reports/databases/spreadsheets: this included analyzing information given
to me and creating functions/computations with either Visual Basic code 
or macros.
