Search Expressions

The keywords are NOT CASE SENSITIVE.

The search expression field accepts one or more words and the following parameters in logical combination:

  • and - finds documents that contain both keywords separated by and (for example, "SNMP and NH"). Note that if you enter multiple words and no conjunction, it assumes you mean and.
  • or - finds documents that contain at least one of the keywords separated by or (for example "windows or win32").
  • * - Specifies a wildcard keyword (for example: "prog*"). Note: you can use wildcard asterisk only at the end of a partial keyword.
  • ( ) - parentheses may be used in combination with and, or, and to express more complicated selection criteria (for example, "TCP/IP and (internet or LAN)").
